Located south of Montpellier, this renowned terroir of Languedoc is since 2017 a registered designation of origin. The vineyard covers about 1500 hectares and is located on varied soils with a climate where it can be very hot in the morning and cool at night. Ideal conditions for different grape varieties such as Syrah, the main grape of the appellation with Grenache and Mourvèdre, and give wines with relief and fresh. Each red and rosé must be assembled from at least two grape varieties. The vinification of the wines is done traditionally and by carbonic maceration. Raised twelve months in barrels generally for the first cuvée, one finds however other cuvées with twenty-four months of breeding.
