Carmenere

Carménère is a variety originally from France, in the Médoc. It was obtained with Cabernet Franc and Gros Cabernet. Outside France, Carménère is found in Chile, Argentina and California. When paired with Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon, for example, it produces rich wines.
