A historic estate rooted in excellence

Château d’Aiguilhe stands as a benchmark estate in the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, bordering Saint-Émilion. With a long winemaking tradition, the property was revitalized in 1998 and has since embraced a philosophy that blends heritage with innovation. The goal is clear: to produce powerful, refined wines that express the true identity of this exceptional terroir.

Spanning over 90 hectares in a single block, the vineyard is predominantly planted with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Thanks to its south-facing slopes and clay-limestone soils, the grapes achieve perfect ripeness and deliver aromatic depth. The estate’s natural setting and soil composition bring a distinctive minerality and elegance to every vintage.

Château d’Aiguilhe follows a sustainable approach to viticulture, with manual harvesting and strict parcel selection to ensure only the finest grapes are used. This level of precision results in wines of remarkable clarity, balance, and depth — faithful to their origin and built to age gracefully.
