Located in the heart of the famed Médoc region, Château Amour stands as a fine example of Bordeaux winemaking tradition. Spanning 53 hectares of gravelly-clay soils, this Cru Bourgeois draws its strength from a balanced varietal composition of 50% merlot and 50% cabernet-sauvignon. These grapes flourish in the estate’s unique terroir, producing wines that are elegant, structured, and expressive.
Since 2006, the estate has been under the care of Corinne Leveilley Dadda and Georges Dadda, who bring both passion and precision to each vintage. Their approach blends respect for traditional Médoc practices with a modern vision of sustainable viticulture. Each bottle of Château Amour tells a story — a story of craftsmanship, heritage, and harmony with nature.
In the glass, the wines reveal deep notes of dark berries, plum, spice, and subtle oak from barrel aging. The palate offers silky tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, graceful finish. With every sip, Château Amour expresses its identity: refined, generous, and deeply rooted in its origin.
Château Amour shines when paired with food. Its aromatic complexity and velvety texture make it an ideal match for grilled or roasted red meats, game dishes in sauce, and aged cheeses like Roquefort or Comté. The wine’s versatility and structure elevate every meal it accompanies.
To fully enjoy its aromatic depth, serve it between 16°C and 18°C. For younger vintages, decanting is recommended to soften the tannins and open up the bouquet. Exceptional vintages such as 2010, 2015, and 2018 showcase the estate’s capacity to produce age-worthy wines that gain in complexity over the years.
Whether you're building a cellar, gifting a bottle, or hosting a special dinner, Château Amour is a trusted choice, available on 12bouteilles, where Bordeaux excellence meets passionate connoisseurship.
