Château Croizet-Bages is a 25-hectare vineyard located in Pauillac in the Gironde region, located in AOC Pauillac, it is ranked 5th Grand Cru in the official classification of Bordeaux wines from 1855. It is run by Jean-Michel and Anne-François Quié, owners of Château Rauzan-Gassies in Margaux and Château Bel-Orme Tronquoy of Lalande Haut Médoc in Saint Seurin de Cadourne. The property has done important work both at the vineyard and cellars to make Château Croizet Bages a vine worthy of its rank. On sandy-gravelly soil, the grape variety is composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. This wine with prune notes has a good mouth volume and excellent material.
