Château Clerc Milon

Ranked 5th in Pauillac, Château Clerc Milon is located between two first classified growths, Lafite Rothschild and Mouton Rothschild. It is a property of the Rothschild family, it is today Philippe Sereys de Rothschild who directs. The 41-hectare vineyard has 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 10% Carbert Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Carmenere. In 2011, the Château’s facilities were completely renovated with a new semi-underground winery and a vat equipped with 40 vats. From barrels to barrels, the circulation of juices has been redesigned to be made by gravity without any pumping of the wines. Today recognized among the greatest Pauillac, the wines of Château Clerc Milon are long, full, the nose is powerful, the mouth greedy and fleshy. The wines are rich and elegant. It is a complex wine of guard.
