Château Camensac is a Haut Médoc of 75 hectares. It is ranked 5th Grand Cru of Médoc. It belongs to the Merlaut family but also Céline Villars-Foubet, also owners of the Châteaux Gruaud Larose in Saint Julien and Chasse-Spleen in Moulis. The wines of Camensac are wines that are compared to Pauillac, with a red color, an intense purple. The first aromas are discreet and subtle. The attack is frank on dense tannins. The finish is very persistent. The Château also produces a second very famous wine which is always a sure bet: La Closerie de Camensac. It is also a Haut Médoc that will be more accessible.
