Château Batailley: A Jewel of Pauillac

A Family-Owned Estate at the Heart of the Médoc

Château Batailley, classified as a 5th Growth in the prestigious 1855 Médoc classification, is an iconic property in Pauillac. This estate, located in the heart of one of Bordeaux's most renowned appellations, is owned by the Castéjà family, a well-known lineage in the wine world. In addition to Château Batailley, the Castéjà family also owns Château Lynch Moussas, another Classified Growth in Pauillac, reflecting their deep and ongoing commitment to producing great wines.

A "Classic" Pauillac Production

Château Batailley is recognized for producing "classic" Pauillac wines, fully expressing the exceptional terroir of this region. The estate's wines stand out for their fine tannins, which provide structure and longevity, along with their enticing aromas of morello cherries and blackcurrant, typical of the great wines of Pauillac. An Exceptional Vineyard
