Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild

Château Duhart-Milon-Rothschild

4th Classified Growth of Pauillac and neighbor of the 1er Cru Classé Château Lafite Rothschild, the estate is vinified and exploited by the same teams since they have the same owner. The great wine of Château Duhart-Milon is often described as a model of the Pauillac appellation. The appreciation of the broker Guillaume Lawton, from 1815, illustrates it well. it comes with a lot of firmness, good color and sap quite pronounced. The second wine of Château Duhart-Milon is selected from the same bases as the great wine. In general, these are vines less prized than the average vineyard. Duhart Mill is vinified to be drunk younger than its elder. The origin of the name comes from the ancient presence of a mill on the Carruades plateau, adjoining the vineyard of Duhart-Milon.
